2. Description of Service

Lexona provides automated energy invoice verification and dispute management services. Our platform analyzes energy invoices, identifies discrepancies, and manages disputes with energy suppliers on behalf of our customers.

  • Invoice analysis and verification
  • Automated dispute initiation and management
  • Supplier communication on your behalf
  • Fund recovery services for paid invoices
  • Pre-payment protection for unpaid invoices

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities under your account.

4. Authorization and Agency

By authorizing Lexona to handle disputes on your behalf, you grant us limited power of attorney to communicate with energy suppliers, submit formal disputes, and negotiate on your behalf. This authorization can be revoked at any time through your account settings.

5. Fees and Payment

Recovery services: For invoices you've already paid, Lexona operates on a success-fee-only model. There are no subscription fees, no upfront costs, and no hidden charges. You only pay when we successfully recover money.

Success fees: A 30% success fee is charged only on successfully recovered amounts. This fee applies whether the recovery is from already-paid invoices or prevented overcharges on unpaid invoices. No fee is charged if no money is recovered.

Subscription pricing: For pre-payment protection (before payment), Lexona offers subscription plans starting at €29 per site per month. This includes unlimited invoice checks, blocking alerts, and dispute automation if needed. Recovery services (after payment) use the success fee model only.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lexona shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding any claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
